Halloween

Hey guys, how are you?
It's Halloween time in Europe! There's a lot of Halloween parties happening for all over Bristol and tonight will be the school one.
I know that sounds very stupid but I will dressed up like a... super hero! hahahaha
Like the other time, I will go with another friend dressed as a super hero too, but this time is Mohamed. He will go as Robin and I as Sr. Incrível.
Tomorrow will take place in Bristol an attempt to break the World Record of the most number of people dressed up as skeletons drinking in a pub! hahaha I will buy my skeleton costume and help this attempt to be successful! hahaha
Take care everyone!

Around the World in 80 Trades

Oh my god! Bristol is freezing theses days!!
Last weekend my camera broke. When I turned it on, the lens got stuck in the middle of the way and there they are until now. I can't push it back or even pull it out. I tried many times but it's not working.
It's sad because I'm planning to visit some places before going back to Brazil and I'll not be able to take pictures unless I use the iPod.
The last morning I went to the salsa class again and I'm really liking it! I'm looking forward to it during the whole week! I'm not sure yet but I think there's classes on Wednesday in another pub. So lets check it out!
This week I saw a programme in an internet site called 4oD that is about a guy travelling around several countries in different continents and his objective is to make trades cutting the middle man in the old fashion way: buying the products himself from the source and transporting it to another place and try to sell there.
It could sounds very strange at the beginning, however if you watch the programme you'll realise that the way they have shown the difference between the negotiations in these countries it's very interesting.
They guy started his journey with £25,000 in his bank account that came from the selling of his flat in London and he's trying to make some profits trading all over the world.
The name of the programme is Around the World in 80 Trades and the link to it is here: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/around-the-world-in-80-trades/4od. I know that it's available to watch on the internet but I'm not sure if it'll be for residents outside UK. But you can try if you fancy to! I strongly recommend it!
Well, I have to go now. I'm going to meet some friends in the pub.
Take care everyone!

Salsa, Rugby, Scottish Dance

Hi guys! How is everything?
This week was really nice. On Monday I had some salsa classes. It's so funny to see the English people dancing. It could look very strange but they're quite bad dancers. Of course that there is always an exception!
On Wednesday, I went to watch a Rugby match. It was Bristol Rugby against Mosley (never heard about it). The match was pretty rubbish, on the other hand, was good for me to understand the Rugby rules.
Yesterday we had the Scottish Country Dancing. In my point of view, it's the best social programme that the school offers. And it was really fun like I was expecting!
Today the sun is shinning in Bristol! Ihulllll!
So after the class we went to the Suspension Bridge. The best part about it, was that in the Suspension Bridge park, there is an Observatory that has a room which is called camera obscura. In this pitch-dark room there is a 360º projection in a table of the view outside. Actually, it's not 360º, but there you can use a handle to move the projection apparatus to the direction that you want. It's so funny because it looks like a movie, but it's what is happening now instead.
After the camera obscura, we visited another place in the park. It's a path through the ground that leads to a small cave where was located a church but it's abandoned today. The cave is located in the middle of a cliff, which is located in the gorge of the Avon River. From the cave you have a nice view of the bridge we stayed there for a while and came back home.
By the way, I have booked my flight back to Brazil to 22th of December. So in 23th of December I will arrive in Brazil!
Take care everyone! See you soon!

The Party and Stella's Brithday

Hey guys! Welcome back!
The School Party was quite fun. Everybody was so surprise with my costume of William Wallace.
A lot of people in the streets came to me and screamed "Freeeedoooooomm!" like he did in the Brave heart movie.
A Scottish girl thanked me for represent the Scotland so well. So was so pleased to see someone that is not from her country dressed up like one of their national heroes.
Below you can see a picture taken of my friend Mohamed from South Arabia, me and my kilt and Robbert dressed as a little girl.
It's been very cold and windy in Bristol these days, so you probably noticed that I had had some problems with my legs that day. Nothing that a couple of pints of beer wouldn't have helped.

Yesterday I went with some friends to a pub called Brass Pigs in the Clifton Triangle. But this time with no costumes! We stayed there for an hour maybe two and then headed to a small club called Agora. Agora is free-entrance club where everyone go for a cheap night, usually after some drinks like we did.
But this time was different!
We met the owner of Agora, who is Turkish and the name I don't remember, and he started to give us champagne for free! Maybe (for sure!) the reason why was because Gabi and Stella were with me and he was trying to please them and another reason could be because today is Stellinha's birthday and when turned midnight yesterday everyone was giving her happy birthday and the guy could had given the bottles as presents, but I don't believe in that possibility.
Today we had lunch in the Roo Bar and came back to my house to make a cake. We bought these ready mixtures for cakes that you can find easily in the supermarket. And I must say that: the cake was amazing!
Stella had a surprise with a video that was made by her friends in Brazil to give her happy birthday. It was so nice!
Now here I'm! Writing to you to tell about these days in Bristol.
Like the poet would say: Tonight is the night!
See ya!

Snow and School Karaoke

Hello again my friends! Is everything ok in Brazil?
Today during my class I received a message from my friend Gabi saying that little flakes of snow were falling from the sky.
I have to describe the feeling at that time. I couldn't stop looking outside for this flakes.
But the problem was that sometimes it was supposed to me to have received this message in the last night.
But at the time I didn't know if this happened or not, so I kept looking outside searching for the snow!
I felt something very funny at the moment. Like a child waiting for the Santa Claus in the Christmas or waiting for the Easter Eggs in the morning in Easter.
Is like a hope of something that is about to start. Do you know?
I just wanted to write about it here.
The weather is not that cold yet, so maybe this is the main reason why it didn't start. But doesn't matter.
Today we have a school party and its purpose is to sing in a karaoke. But like all the school parties, this is just an excuse to party hard! hahaha
I had promised that in all of the school parties I must go dressed up!
So... the tonight's costume is... William Wallace! hahahaha
I have already the kilt that I bought in Scotland and I bought a plastic sword and the blue face paint that he uses in the movie.
Later I could post here the picture of me ready for the party! Ihull!
Cheers!

English, English and English

Today one of my teachers asked my: "Why don't you restart to write in your blog, but now in English?". And it really makes me think about it.
I know that writing is one of my weakness and this could be reason for failing in the exam, so I would ask to myself: "Why?".
And the answer is: "I don't know the fucking why!" hahahaha
Actually this blog was made as a link between me and everyone that I left in Brazil but its magic was lost in the way and sadly for many weeks I thought that this blog had no reason to be written again.
I didn't feel like writing whether I stayed at home or whether I had made something amazing so I stopped a few months ago.
But now, I'll make this as my writing practice. Doesn't matter who like it or not!
I'm sorry Dad. I'm sorry Mom. But now I have to sprint otherwise I will lose the race!
It's good for me (I'll practice my writing) and will be good for you (will be reading all these ball-shits that I usually write).
Do you want to collaborate? Why don't you comment in English?
Wow! I just saw that Steve Jobs, the Apple co-founder, died today. That isn't a good news for those who likes technology, is it?
After that I have to go. (it's almost half past one, so it's time to go to bed!)
Take care!
